3 days in

Its my birthday today, which feels a bit weird since no one is here. Weather is shit so going out for drinks with the colleagues didn't work out, so think I am going to enjoy the evening watching The Office. So much has happened already that i forgot all what i wanted to write.. I saw a lizard (they are everywhere!) and a squirrel; highlights of the day haha. A women said 'god bless you' to me, when I asked till how late supermarkets stay open around here. And everyone keeps asking me how I'm doing, and its annoying me, don't know if they expect me to ask it back and I always say just 'hello' back while forgetting to answer the question.

I bought Twinkies, which are gross so now im stuck with a whole pack. Ate mac&cheese, idem dito. I am adjusting to the Mexican food a bit now though, since Tijuana Flats is my colleagues favorite lunch spot I think I have to. 

I am adjusting to the heat more and more every day, though I still think its unbearable most of the time. Yesterday I think I biked around 2 hours through Jupiter to find a macbook charger (since mine decided to break down right on arrival). Finally in the middle of nowhere I found one at Radioshack for 80 dollars. Expensive bullshit. Treated myself on dinner at Wendy's, who have actually really nice food: juiciest burger I ever ate and the fries seem like they just have been cut from potatoes back in the kitchen.

Also met the Florida rain. Makes me remember why I love riding a bike.

In an attempt to try to meet people I have looked into some meet-up groups, so probably going out with some people from there this week. Also was invited to a 'Line-dancing night' but not sure if that is really something for me haha, although probably will help for the full american experience..

Well I hope some more interesting stories will follow in the coming days.. for now squirrels and lizards should do. Peace!
