Arrival day

After being awake for the past 22 hours while being uncomfortable most of the time I am now laying in my one- person (while it said 2 -person on the description!) bed and got my laptop which with gods grace did not got crashed while being hustled around in my suitcase.

I have already been to a supermarket with my boss, where I walked around like I was in Disneyland (which is awfully close actually :D) and just bought some watermelon, blueberry muffins, normal yoghurt which is only to be found in the organic section, and some chicken crisp strips ('we also have a full meal of it, are you sure you don't want that?' asked by the boy behind the counter). No I have not adjusted to the food sizes yet so the 3 strips will do.

Flight was not too bad to be honest, in the first 5 min I met a boy who was traveling from Amsterdam to Ecuador, and when the lady in the middle of us left to another seat we basically didn't part anymore for the rest of the 16 hours. Very friendly, very handsome and a perfect way to keep me from falling into the 'im leaving home depression'. Creative as we were we spend our time by making tons of crossword puzzles together, watching mr Bean & really: New Kids The Movie.

We had a lot of fun and exchanged numbers to keep in contact while we travel around. Now I am really alone though, but my room is nice. Own bathroom, walk-in-closet, balcony, fridge & even got a tv (Which my Peruvian landlady specially gave to me : 'I don't give to anyone, but wanted to give to you ;)').

Tomorrow my boss will take me into town to look around and have some lunch, so have to be ready at 12:00 sharp. Let's see if I can kick that jetlag's ass..
